Holidays to The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali
The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali is a five star resort on Seminyak Beach, set within 60,702 square metres of tropical gardens. Traditional pavilion-style accommodation, ocean-facing dining and an open-air amphitheatre for cultural performances give your stay a distinctly Balinese character. Seminyak Village is 550 metres away, so a day of quiet resort time can be followed by an easy outing on foot. The resort was recognised in the 2025 Condé Nast Traveller UK Readers' Choice Awards for Best Resorts in the World, Indonesia.
Accommodation is made up of six villa categories and three lanai room types, with thatched roofs, plenty of natural light and ocean or garden views. Canopied beds and sunken marble bathtubs feature throughout. Villas add private pools of six to twelve metres and an al fresco dining pavilion, and the Royal Ocean View Villa with Pool has a separate living room. Lanai rooms open onto a private terrace.
Beyond the pool, the resort offers a tennis court, and children's activities include milkshake making, kite making, wood carving, drawing and painting, and Balinese dance and music lessons. Between May and October you can visit the saltwater turtle sanctuary and help release Olive Ridley hatchlings into the sea. Evenings centre on Balinese dance at the amphitheatre, with candlelit beach dinners as a romantic alternative.
The beachfront swimming pool is 33.5 metres long and looks straight out over Seminyak Beach and the ocean, with sun loungers and healthy snacks served poolside from 7am to 7pm. The Oberoi Spa offers Balinese, Western and Oberoi signature treatments in open air thatched pavilions overlooking tropical gardens and lily ponds, and Omorovicza products are used for facials. An air conditioned fitness centre and a tennis court keep you active.
Three restaurants and one bar share the grounds. Frangipani Cafe serves European, Indian and Indonesian dishes from 7am to 6pm just steps from the beach, and Kura Kura Restaurant takes over for dinner in a thatched, open air setting with ocean views. The Amphitheatre stages themed dinners alongside Balinese dance, while Kayu Bar offers cocktails, Champagne and casual dining from noon until midnight.
Seminyak Village, 550 metres from the resort, mixes international brands with local artisans, and the 15th century Petitenget Temple is a short guided drive away. Mal Bali Galeria is 8.6 kilometres and 28 minutes away, Bali Bird Park 19.9 kilometres, and Ubud's Monkey Forest 32.3 kilometres. Pura Besakih, esteemed as Bali's most important Hindu temple, is 61.9 kilometres away, while Kuta Beach and Waterbom Bali are each around thirty minutes by car.
