Timeless Memories

1 - Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Odysseys Travel Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It sets out what these technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control their use.

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for our website to work until you make a choice in our cookie banner. Other cookies (functionality, tracking and advertising) are used only if you agree to them. You can change your choice at any time using "Update cookie preferences" at the bottom of any page.

2 - What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve efficiency, and provide information to the owners of the site.

Cookies can be:

i. Session cookies – temporary and deleted when you close your browser.
ii. Persistent cookies – stored on your device until they expire or you delete them.

3 - The types of cookies we use

We use the following types of cookies on our website:

i. Essential cookies – Required for the website to function properly, such as enabling navigation and secure areas. Without these cookies, our website cannot operate as intended.

ii. Tracking (performance) cookies – Help us understand how visitors use our site by collecting anonymous data, allowing us to improve website performance.

iii. Functionality cookies – Allow us to remember your preferences, such as language or location, to provide a more personalised experience.

iv. Targeting and advertising cookies – Used to deliver relevant advertising and measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.

4 - How do we use cookies?

We use cookies to:

i. Operate and secure our website.
ii. Remember your preferences.
iii. Analyse website traffic and improve our services.
iv. Deliver relevant advertising and promotions.

5 - Website performance measurement

To find out how quickly our pages load and respond, and to improve them, our website measures page speed on a sample of visits. When a page is open, your browser reports timing figures such as how long the main content took to appear, how quickly the page responded when you tapped or clicked, and whether the layout moved while loading. Along with these figures we record only the type of page (for example "destination page") and whether it was viewed on a mobile or desktop screen.

This measurement does not set any cookies or store anything on your device. We do not record your IP address, any account or booking details, or the full address of the page, and the figures cannot be used to identify you. They are combined into totals, kept on our own systems for up to 7 days, and are not shared with any third party.

We rely on the exemption for statistical purposes in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, so this measurement can run before you make a choice in our cookie banner. If you choose "I decline", leave Tracking cookies switched off in our Cookies Preferences Center (use "Update cookie preferences" at the bottom of any page), or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, no measurements are sent from your browser. You can change your choice at any time, free of charge.

6 - Third-party cookies

We work with trusted partners, including Google, Meta, and HubSpot, who may place cookies on your device when you visit our website. These partners help us with:

i. Analytics.
ii. Advertising.
iii. Website improvements.

7 - Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
