Holidays to Jeeva Klui Resort
Jeeva Klui sits on Klui Beach on Lombok's west coast, about five kilometres north of the Senggigi tourist area, with views towards the mountains of Bali. The resort calls itself the only true boutique beachfront resort on Klui Beach, and it is the flagship of Jeeva Resorts. It lists a place among the Top 25 Hotels in Indonesia for 2013 to 2025. The website publishes no star rating, total room count or board basis.
Seven categories are published. The Asta Deluxe Suite has garden and pool views, while the Ananda Pura Partial Ocean View Suite looks over gardens to the Indian Ocean. The Ananda Segarra Beachfront Suite and Ananda Segarra Beachfront Villa sit directly on the sand, and the Astama Oceanfront Villa overlooks the pool and beach beside the restaurant. The Akasha Pool Villa has an oversized plunge pool in a stone-walled garden, and the two storey Amra Duplex Pool Villa sleeps four. Most categories have rain showers and a hand-carved four poster bed.
Complimentary bicycles are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and staff can pair you with a guide for rice terraces, villages and pottery workshops. Snorkelling equipment is provided, and staff can coordinate diving, Gili Islands day trips by private fast boat, kayaking and surf lessons. Complimentary one hour yoga sessions run on Monday and Thursday mornings at 08:00. A library, board games and a game room add quieter options.
The infinity pool is nearly 25 metres long with a timber deck, and a secondary pool sits beside the Asta Deluxe Suites. An adults only pool, a cold pool and a sauna are found in the spa compound. Jeevaniya Spa has two couple's treatment rooms and two individual rooms looking along the beach to the mountains of Bali, with treatments also offered in a villa or beach cabana. Spa hours are 09:00 to 21:00. The fitness centre has cardio and strength equipment and opens from 06:00 to 21:00, and sunrise yoga is taught in the Angsana style.
The Waroeng is the resort's restaurant, open daily from 07:00 to 23:00 on the oceanfront verandah. It serves Western, Indonesian and Asian dishes at a long table, beneath the Banyan tree or on the beachfront deck, with a limited room service menu for late evenings. Wallace Library Lounge, an air-conditioned lounge named after the naturalist Alfred Wallace, serves cocktails and tapas, though its hours are not published.
Senggigi is about five kilometres south, and the Gili Islands are a day trip by boat. Hiking suggestions include Rinjani, Kerandangan and the Tiu Kelep waterfall, and Banyumulek is a pottery village known for traditional skills. Lombok sits near the Wallace Line, the natural boundary between Asian and Australian species. The website publishes no airport distance or climate details.
