One&Only Palmilla is a beachfront resort on the Baja peninsula, in the Tourist Corridor of Los Cabos, where the shoreline of Palmilla Bay meets the Sea of Cortez. The resort describes its rooms, suites and villas as indoor-outdoor spaces with uninterrupted sea views, so you can plan a stay around the water. Stays range from rooms and suites to private villas, with family offers alongside.
The resort offers rooms, suites and private villas. The Oceanfront Palmilla Room has an alfresco daybed, while the Palmilla Room with Plunge Pool adds a private terrace and your own pool. The Two-Bedroom Oceanfront Family Room gives families separate sleeping quarters, and Ocean-view Junior Suites have a sea-facing terrace or balcony. Villa One and Villa Cortez are private villas.
Pelican Beach is the base for snorkelling, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding, with surf lessons, sportfishing expeditions and yacht charters also on offer. Whale watching and scuba dives with flying mobula rays, from May to August, extend the choice beyond the bay. Two tennis courts and two pickleball courts sit near the golf clubhouse, and families can look to the KidsOnly programme.
Pools sit beside the sea, and a swim-up bar at Breeze keeps sunset cocktails close to the water. One&Only Spa covers 22,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, with massages, beauty treatments and Mayan healing rituals including temazcal. The Hydrotherapy Relaxation Garden has a sauna, steam, cold plunge and jacuzzi, and the Fitness Studio is open around the clock to resort guests. A Beauty Salon, Barber Blade grooming salon and a PEDI:MANI:CURE Studio by Bastien Gonzalez complete the wellbeing offer.
The dining list runs to eight venues. Agua is a clifftop Mexican restaurant above the Sea of Cortez serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Breeze is an open-air brasserie with a terrace facing the sea. Pelican Beach Bar and Grill serves Mediterranean-inspired plates by the sand, HOSHI offers Nikkei cuisine, and SEARED is a contemporary steakhouse. Palmilla Social Club adds Sala 56 bar, Lucille's Kitchen and Lucille's Cafe, overlooking the golf club.
The bay's blue-flag certified beach is on your doorstep, and Palmilla Golf Club is part of the resort, with the Jack Nicklaus designed Arroyo Course open while renovation of the club continues. Beyond the resort, the Baja coastline offers whale watching, surfing and boat trips. The website does not publish distances to the airport or to San Jose del Cabo, so check transfer times before you travel.
