Kamandalu Ubud describes itself as a five star resort designed to capture the essence of a Balinese village, with local tradition set beside contemporary style. It sits in the green foothills of Ubud, where banyan trees, rice terraces and the Petanu River Valley surround the grounds. The website does not publish a board basis, a total villa count or a distance to the airport, so confirm these when you book.
Seven villa types are listed, from the Garden Villa with one bedroom to the Presidential villa with three. Every villa has air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi and a coffee and tea maker, most have a bathtub and an outdoor shower, and several include a bale bengong, the Balinese daybed.
