Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit stands on Sukhumvit Road in the centre of the city, about 400 metres from Asok BTS station and 360 metres from MRT Sukhumvit. It holds 338 rooms and suites, and the hotel does not publish a star rating or board basis, so check the rate you book. Families are catered for with a Kids Zone and children's pool, business travellers with a Club Lounge, and the awards list includes the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2024.

Every room has floor to ceiling windows, electric blinds, a bathtub with a separate rain shower and a smart TV. Deluxe and Executive Rooms cover 37 square metres, Family Rooms on levels 11 to 21 sleep two adults and two children in 64 square metres, and Carlton Club Rooms on the high floors add access to the Carlton Club Lounge on the 33rd floor. Suites run from the 64 square metre Executive Suite to the two bedroom Carlton Suite at 129 square metres, with Nespresso machines.

The Kids Zone on Level 10 welcomes children aged three to twelve from ten until six, accompanied by a parent, and a children's menu is available. Club Room and suite bookings include the Carlton Club Lounge, with drinks through the day and pre dinner canapes from six until eight. The hotel publishes no organised sports, classes or evening entertainment programme of its own.

Level 10 is the leisure floor. The 30 metre outdoor pool opens from six in the morning until nine at night, with a sun deck and a shallow children's pool of four by six metres alongside. Let's Relax Spa on the same floor offers traditional Thai massage, facials, body scrubs, manicures and pedicures for individuals and couples. The Fitness Studio, open from six until eleven, has cardio and strength machines and free weights. The hotel does not publish a sauna or steam room.

Five venues run from the lower ground floor to the roof. Plate serves a buffet breakfast from an open kitchen and live cooking stations, then Straits and Peranakan dishes a la carte through the day. Wah Lok on Level 2 is listed in the Michelin Guide for Cantonese cooking, with Peking duck and private dining rooms. Tuxedo Espresso Bar in the lobby does barista coffee, pastries and afternoon tea, Plunge pours juices and cocktails by the pool, and Cooling Tower on Level 34 mixes cocktails and sharing plates under the night sky.

Terminal 21 and the EmDistrict malls are moments away, and Chatuchak market and the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center are a few stops along the BTS Skytrain. Phrom Phong BTS station is a nine minute walk in the other direction. Suvarnabhumi Airport is about 25 kilometres from the hotel and Don Mueang about 23, with a hotel limousine available for transfers. The hotel publishes nothing on climate.
