Sunshine Hotel & Suites is a reimagined boutique retreat on Grand Cayman, moments from Seven Mile Beach and minutes from George Town. The hotel has a relaxed Caribbean-style and suits beach breaks, longer stays, and workations. You can also use the pool, beach and dining at the neighbouring oceanfront sister property on Seven Mile Beach, with charging privileges back to your room. A welcome drink, manicured gardens and a central setting add ease to the stay.

The accommodation includes Studio Suites, Deluxe Suites, One-Bedroom Suites, Executive One-Bedroom King Suites, and Family Suites. Studio Suites offer 265 square feet for up to two people, while Deluxe Suites provide 345 square feet for up to four. One Bedroom and Executive One Bedroom King Suites measure 394 square feet and sleep up to four, while Family Suites offer 530 square feet for up to seven. Kitchenettes include full-sized fridges, microwaves and toasters, with cooktops in Executive suites. Rooms also feature 65-inch televisions, dining space, hair dryers, steamers and in-room safes.

Red Sail Sports provides many of the resort’s water-based experiences. You can try kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkelling, sailing, banana boat rides, wakeboarding, water-skiing and Waverunners. Scuba diving is also available, with more than 160 charted dive sites around Cayman and one-tank or two-tank options for certified divers. Catamaran trips include visits to Stingray City Sandbar and the Kittiwake wreck, while selected excursions combine sailing, snorkelling and sunset views.

You can relax by the freshwater pool and sundeck or use the pool and beach at the neighbouring sister property. Cabana choices include Premium Beach, Luxury Beach, Luxury Hammock, and Double Deck Cabanas, with features that vary by type. Sunshine Fit is open 24 hours and includes Peloton bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, and strength equipment, plus a water refill station, cold towels, and an accessible bathroom.

Sunshine Grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served from 7.00 am to 10.45 am, featuring pancakes, Cuban French toast, omelettes, and fresh juices. Lunch includes burgers, fish tacos and other casual dishes, while dinner adds Cuban-influenced choices and fish specials. The Sunshine Marketplace in the lobby offers snacks, ready-to-go meals, sweets, sundries and other grab-and-go items. You can also access dining at the sister property on Seven Mile Beach.

The hotel sits close to Seven Mile Beach and minutes from George Town’s shops and restaurants. North Sound Golf Course, Grand Cayman’s only 18-hole course, is adjacent, while nearby jogging and cycling trails offer another way to explore.
