Couples and families are both well catered for, with a secluded beach, a water park and a wristband-free approach to the all-inclusive stay. Live entertainment carries each day into the evening.
The resort has 418 rooms and suites, with views over the Caribbean Sea or the resort gardens. Rooms have private balconies or terraces, and swim-out rooms put the pool at your door. Inside you will find a flat-screen TV, individual climate control, a minibar refreshed daily, an in-room safe and complimentary Wi-Fi. The Preferred Club category adds suites in premium locations, butler service, a pillow menu, a private lounge and a Preferred Club beach area.
Daytime activities include catamarans, kayaks, snorkelling, a diving clinic, pool games, beach volleyball, ping pong, Spanish lessons and Merengue lessons. The Kids Club welcomes ages four to twelve with arts and crafts, a playground and sandcastle contests, and the Teens Club for ages thirteen to seventeen has a batting cage, billiards and video games. After dark, a disco and live music shows take over, and the casino has slot machines, blackjack and roulette. Tennis and pickleball are also on site.
The water park has towering tube slides, a lazy river and a splash zone with mini waterslides for younger swimmers, while sparkling pools and private cabanas, available to rent, give you quieter places to settle. Dreams Spa covers more than 21,000 square feet, with hydrotherapy areas, a beauty salon and an oceanfront palapa for massages. The fitness centre is open around the clock, with free weights, treadmills and NordicTrack equipment.
There are fifteen restaurants, bars and lounges, and none needs a reservation. Spices Market serves international buffets with theme nights, Maravento brings Southern Italian cooking, Coastal Grill cooks over charcoal, El Camino turns to American Southwest flavours and Ausangate offers Peruvian dishes. Pizzeria sits near the pools, Tres Hermanas pours premium coffee, and Catch the Wave is a food truck for quick snacks. For drinks, try One for the Road in the lobby, On the Rocks by the sea, Coral Reef on the beach or the Las Palmas Swim-Up Bar. Room service runs around the clock.
Bayahibe is known for a nearby coral reef, a wide range of plants and wildlife and several historic and cultural sites, and the travel desk can arrange tours and car rental. Four golf courses lie close by, among them Teeth of the Dog, La Estancia and Dye Fore and The Links, both at Casa de Campo. La Romana Airport is a 15-minute drive away, Punta Cana International Airport about 45 minutes and Santo Domingo International Airport 75 minutes.
