Finest Punta Cana is an all inclusive, all suite resort on the oceanfront at Uvero Alto, with a golden sand beachfront and an atmosphere that is chic yet casual. It welcomes families and adults, and it holds the AAA Diamond Award. Punta Cana International Airport is about a 40 to 45 minute drive away, so you reach the sand quickly after landing.
Every room is a suite, and 455 are spread across Finest Suites, Finest Club and Excellence Club, which is for adults aged 18 and over. Each suite has a jacuzzi, a private terrace and a rainfall shower. You can choose a junior suite, a swim-up suite, a terrace suite with a plunge pool or a private pool suite, while family suites add an extra bedroom for children and sleep up to five.
Days can stay active with kayaking, sailing and snorkelling, beach volleyball, tennis, paddle tennis, pickleball, archery and a batting cage. Yoga, aerobics, water aerobics, Spanish, dance and cooking lessons run alongside. Children have the Imagine Kids Club, with supervised activities and mini water parks. Evenings bring nightly shows, theme nights, El Teatro Spirits and More, and the Glow Cocktail Lounge for dancing. Scuba diving and deep sea fishing are available at an extra cost.
Seven pools are spread across the resort, including a main pool beside the beach, club pools, a splash pool for little ones and two mini water parks, with six outdoor hot water jacuzzis as well. ONE Spa has nine treatment rooms, a couples suite with a hydrotherapy tub and the ONE Aqua circuit of plunge pools, saunas and a steam bath. The fitness centre has cardio equipment and Technogym weights.
More than ten restaurants are included, among them Surf and Turf, Lizo for Mexican food, Melting Pot for Pan-Asian, Brass Steakhouse, Duke's Lobster and Seafood, Insieme Trattoria for Italian, Le Petit Plaisir for French and Shoji for hibachi. The Market Kitchen serves a buffet, two food trucks and Las Dunas Beach House cover lighter bites, and room service runs around the clock. Fifteen bars and lounges pour premium drinks, and teppanyaki and wok dinners need a reservation.
The resort stands on Playas de Uvero Alto on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, and a casino sits nearby. Punta Cana International Airport is a drive of 40 to 45 minutes. The resort does not list nearby towns, shops or cultural sites, so your travel adviser can help you plan excursions and coastal adventures around the beach days.
