Grand Palladium Jamaica is a five-star premium all-inclusive resort in Point Lucea, Hanover, with 537 rooms and 15 villas. It sits on the oceanfront with direct access to a white sand beach where a lifeguard is on duty. The mood is family-first, and your booking also opens access to the facilities of the neighbouring Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton, which is sold as part of the same resort. Check-in is from 15:00, and check-out is at 12:00.
Rooms were last refurbished in 2022. Junior Suites measure 53 square metres, and the largest category, the Suite Private Pool Oceanfront, reaches about 123 square metres. Each includes a memory foam mattress, a whirlpool bathtub, a 55-inch television, a minibar, and a sofa bed; a wristband replaces the room key. Ocean view, oceanfront and poolside categories are available, and two adults-only categories add a private terrace pool.
Land sports include two tennis courts, two pickleball courts, basketball, beach volleyball, minigolf, football, archery, billiards and darts. On the water, kayaking, snorkelling, windsurfing, catamaran sailing and water polo are all available, with diving and deep-sea fishing at an extra cost. Rum tasting, mixology and chocolate tasting fill quieter afternoons. Baby Club takes ages one to three, Mini Club four to twelve with its own water slides and pirate show, and the Black & White Junior Club gives teenagers foosball, air hockey and an Xbox.
Five pools sit across the resort. The main pool covers 4,500 square metres, among the largest in Jamaica, with a swim-up bar and water volleyball, while a separate relaxation pool and an outdoor Jacuzzi keep things quieter. Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness is adults-only and open from 08:00 to 20:00, with a steam room, hot and cold whirlpools, a lap pool, and three water slides. The gym opens at 06:00 and runs classes from yoga and Pilates to TRX and aqua spin.
Buffets at Mo'bay, Blue Lagoon and Negril cover breakfast through dinner, while the à la carte venues are divided by kitchen: Sumptuori for Japanese teppanyaki, Bhogali for Indian, Portofino for Italian, El Dorado for steaks, La Adelita for Mexican, Poseidon for Mediterranean seafood beside the beach and Xaymaica for ackee, jerk chicken and curried meats. Jerk huts at Sunset Cove and Las Brisas grill through the afternoon, and room service runs 24 hours.
The airport is 32 kilometres away, roughly 40 minutes by road. Three beaches sit within the resort: Las Brisas, Sunset Cove and Coral Beach. On site, you will find a swimwear shop, a souvenir store, a jeweller and a photography centre, while the Info Tours desk books excursions and cultural visits across Jamaica. Evenings bring reggae bands, live music on the beach and shows in the open-plan theatre.
