La Solaya Khao Lak is a five-star beachfront resort on Bang Niang Beach in Khao Lak, Phang Nga, and part of the La Flora Group. It suits couples, families and longer stays. Breakfast inclusion depends on the rate you choose, so check your booking before you travel. The resort does not publish a total room count. Phuket International Airport is roughly 75 to 80 minutes away by car, and check-in begins at 2pm.

The resort has five room categories: Deluxe Room, Deluxe 2-Bedroom, Deluxe Villa, Family Villa and Pool Villa. The Deluxe Room has a private balcony overlooking the tropical gardens. The Deluxe 2-Bedroom has two separate bedrooms and a living space, which works well for families or friends sharing. Club Stella is a games cafe and lounge for hotel guests, open from 10:00 to 19:00 daily. It has a pool table, foosball, air hockey, PlayStation, Mario Kart stations, arcade games and board games, and it gives children, teenagers and adults an indoor option on a rainy day. Surf lessons and packages are offered, and yoga and meditation run at the Wellness Pavilion. The hotel does not publish a kids club or an evening entertainment programme.

You have two pools to choose from: the Main Swimming Pool for swimming and time beside the water, and the Honeymoon Pool, an intimate setting for peaceful moments. Both are open from 7am to 7pm. Powa Fitness offers modern equipment for strength training and cardio over the same hours, while the Wellness Pavilion beside the Honeymoon Pool hosts yoga, meditation, spa rituals and mindful workshops. Spa Floranica, offering traditional Thai therapies and modern wellness treatments, is moments away, as is Wellness La Vita Sana.

SolMare is the beachfront restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner steps from the sand with ocean views. The menu covers Thai classics such as tom yum and pad thai, international choices including pasta, pizza and charcoal-grilled dishes, and fresh seafood, so sunset dinners are easy to plan. SolBar sits beside the pool, open from 10:00 to 19:00 with signature cocktails, mocktails and light bites. Club Stella adds a cafe setting for coffee, smoothies, cocktails and daily bakery selections.

The resort sits on Bang Niang Beach, with SolMare steps from the sand. Excursions are arranged with Tan Line: half-day tours include elephant experiences, whitewater rafting and river canoeing, while full days reach James Bond Island, Khao Sok National Park, Phuket and temples across Phang Nga. Boat trips to the Surin and Similan Islands run seasonally, from roughly mid-October to mid-May. November to April brings sunny weather for beach and island days, with national park and waterfall visits for the green season.
