Hilton Los Cabos sits beside the Sea of Cortez in the Los Cabos corridor, on a cove-protected beach that the resort describes as one of the few swimmable stretches of shore in the area. Rooms are sold on a room only basis, so you shape each day yourself, although breakfast is included with AltaMar stays. The mood is relaxed and polished, with room for couples, families and friends. San Jose del Cabo is a 15 minute drive away, Cabo San Lucas takes 23 minutes, and the airport is 30 minutes from the door.
The resort has 264 rooms and suites, and all of them enjoy ocean views and private outdoor space, with hacienda inspired decor and oversize tubs. Choose from oceanfront and ocean view rooms with one king or two queen beds, or step up to suites with plunge pools, a Premier King Parlor Suite, or the one bedroom Governor Suite. The Presidential Suite has two bedrooms and three private terraces. AltaMar rooms sit on the highest floors, and the premium suites bring a dedicated Compadre Concierge, daily breakfast for two and private airport transfers.
Enclave Beach Club and Lounge brings loungers and a waterfront bar by day, then live music and DJs as the sun sets. The Beach Shack by Wild Canyon Adventures rents stand up paddleboards, mountain bikes and foil boards, and a UTV ride can take you from the beach to the adventure park. There are tennis courts, whale watching, and the Cabo Kids Club, with a kids pool and a playground, keeps younger travellers busy.
Three pools share the waterfront. The Jewel Infinity Pool looks out over the Sea of Cortez, Serenity is kept for adults who prefer a quieter afternoon, and the Dolphin Family Pool comes with a Splash Zone for children. Mio serves sushi at the edge of the Dolphin Pool, with a swim up bar close by. For wellbeing, eforea spa offers massages inspired by traditional Mexican healing, with a steam room, while an open air fitness centre and sunrise yoga keep routines easy.
Nine venues cover the day. Vela serves Mediterranean dinners, Leña grills seafood and meats at lunch with ocean views, and Talavera cooks dishes from all seven regions of Mexico, with a breakfast buffet each morning. Sotol is the agave bar, with more than 200 spirits, while La Biblioteca hosts private five course dinners with pairings. Enclave Beach Club and Lounge, Mio, Dulce and Los Arcos Roasting Co add beachside drinks, sushi, gelato and coffee. Room service runs from 07:00 to 01:00.
The resort sits in the Los Cabos corridor, so beaches, towns and landmarks are all within a short journey. San Jose del Cabo is 15 minutes away and Cabo San Lucas is 23 minutes away, where a cruise to Lands End and the Arch of Cabo San Lucas makes a memorable half day. Private airport transfers can be arranged through the resort, and a concierge team helps with excursions, tours and transport.
