C Mauritius sits on the east coast of the island, facing Palmar beach, where the tide is the only thing with a timetable. It is an all-inclusive resort with a relaxed, playful atmosphere, built around reconnecting with your inner child. Couples, friends and families who enjoy a sociable, active holiday will settle in easily. The airport is about 50 km away, roughly 60 minutes by car or 15 minutes by helicopter.

There are 116 rooms, made up of 64 Deluxe Rooms of 48 sqm and 52 Prestige Rooms of 40 sqm. Both types sleep up to three and open onto a terrace or balcony with a sitting area. Beachfront versions of each are available, and Deluxe Rooms include connecting options for families. Every room has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite television, a minibar, a private safe, tea and coffee facilities and a bathroom with shower.

The Clubhouse runs a long list of free activities, including pedalos, single and double kayaks, stand up paddle, wind surfing, a floating trampoline, beach volleyball, bocce and treasure hunts. A tennis court and a padel tennis court are free to use, with lessons available. Kite surfing is booked at its own counter, open from 09:30 to 17:00, and Sessions by the C bring music to the sand on four evenings a week.

Three swimming pools sit within the resort, giving you a choice between the pool and the beach. C Spa offers massages, body wraps and scrubs across four single and two double treatment rooms, with a sauna and a steam room, and opens from 09:30 to 20:00. The indoor gym and outdoor circuit open from 06:30 to 20:00, with weekly circuit training, stretching and abs classes, plus private or group yoga.

The all-inclusive concept covers six venues. The Dining Room serves international buffets at breakfast and dinner, while an Asian fusion restaurant overlooking the beach offers an a la carte menu for lunch and dinner by reservation. Cpicerie is a deli style outlet with pancakes, ice cream and cakes at tea time, the Cellar holds more than 50 organic and biodynamic wines, and two bars include one beside the beach.

Palmar beach is on the doorstep, and the weekly C Trek takes a guided group to the scenic Le Pouce mountain, leaving at 08:00 and returning around 13:00, with transfers and a backpack of water and snacks arranged. Daytime temperatures run from 28 to 34 degrees Celsius in summer and 20 to 30 degrees in winter. Check in is from 14:00 and check out is at 12:00.
