Chen Sea Resort & Spa sits on the northwest coast of Phu Quoc, in the Bai Xep and Ong Lang area, where a private beach meets the Gulf of Thailand. Thirty-six villas, from 75 to 240 square metres, are arranged in rows back from the sand, so you stay close to the water in a calm, low-rise setting. The airport is around 20 to 25 minutes away by car, while the town centre is about 15 minutes from the resort.
Each of the 36 villas combines open-plan living with natural materials and traditional Vietnamese design. Sea View Villas place you in the second row, facing a tropical garden and the sea, while Beachfront Villas offer direct access to the sand and views across the Gulf of Thailand. Jacuzzi Villas add an outdoor jacuzzi and a private living sala, and the Two Bedroom Pool Villa gives you a private infinity-edge pool and two en suite bathrooms.
Chen Sea Spa occupies three timber pavilions in the style of Hoi An, overlooking the sea and open from 09:00 to 19:00 daily. Treatments include foot reflexology, herbal compress therapy and a romantic therapy for couples, using organic products. Beyond the spa, you can join a private cooking class, kayak along the river, book a speedboat tour or snorkel around nearby islands. Yoga is available on request, and non-motorised water sports run from November to April.
