St. Gregory works to a farm to spa philosophy, drawing on Thalasso therapies and botanicals harvested from the hotel Urban Farm.
A nature themed playroom on level four opens daily from 09:00 to 21:00 for children up to twelve years old.
A five star address in the heart of Marina Bay, this is Singapore's first Garden-in-a-Hotel, where biophilic design runs through the whole building. Over 2,400 plants and a thirteen metre green wall purify the air, and sunlight pours into a planted atrium. Breakfast is included with your stay. It suits travellers who want the pace of the city within reach but somewhere calm to return to, and the Esplanade, the Merlion and Gardens by the Bay are all minutes away.
Twelve room and suite categories are published, from the Urban Deluxe Room up to the flagship PARKROYAL COLLECTION Suite. Several carry a private balcony, and the Signature Marina Bay rooms and suites frame the bay while the COLLECTION Club rooms occupy the uppermost levels. Club categories come with lounge access from half past six in the morning until half past ten at night, daily buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Two gnome themed family rooms are built around play.
Gnomey Hollows, a nature themed playroom on level four, opens daily from nine until nine for children up to twelve, and is open to residents and diners alike. Babysitting can be arranged. The Urban Farm supplies Peppermint, Portman's Bar and St. Gregory, and its produce turns up across the hotel. Beyond that the emphasis is on swimming, the gymnasium, the spin bike studio and fitness classes rather than organised entertainment, and the COLLECTION Club Lounge offers all day refreshments on the terrace.
The wellness floor sits on level five. A twenty five metre outdoor pool runs along it, lit after dark by 1,380 underwater fibre optic lights, with the Marina Bay skyline in front of you. St. Gregory, the hotel's award winning spa, opens from eleven until eight on weekdays and from ten at weekends, working through Thalasso therapies, signature rituals and a farm to spa philosophy. The gymnasium runs around the clock with Technogym equipment, and there is a spin bike studio, a yoga room, fitness classes and changing rooms alongside.
Four restaurants and bars operate here. Peach Blossoms serves modern Chinese from Executive Chef Edward Chong, with Marina Bay in view. Peppermint is the all day room, halal certified across its kitchen and buffet stations, working to a farm to table philosophy with Asian and international dishes. Portman's Bar pours botanical cocktails and mocktails built on herbs and edible flowers cut from the Urban Farm, and serves afternoon tea. Skyline Bar sits by the pool for savoury bites and drinks.
Marina Square, Suntec City and Millenia Walk are reached under cover directly from the hotel, and the malls open from ten until ten. Gardens by the Bay, Merlion Park, the Esplanade Theatres, the National Gallery, the Singapore Flyer, the ArtScience Museum and CHIJMES are all close by. Changi Airport is twenty minutes by taxi, or thirty by MRT from Esplanade station, exit B. Check in is from three in the afternoon and check out is at midday.
