A restored heritage property at 2 Gunner Lane, The Barracks Hotel Sentosa holds 40 rooms and suites inside barracks buildings conserved from 1904, run by Far East Hospitality. Fitness classes and wellness workshops run at Oasia Resort Sentosa on a first come basis. The Barracks Pool is a 30 metre lap pool set among the heritage buildings, with sun loungers along the water and towels laid out beside it. Oasia Spa handles treatments, and the gym at Village Hotel Sentosa runs around the clock, with fitness classes and wellness workshops at Oasia Resort Sentosa. A buggy service carries you across the island, and the Equerry team arranges reservations, transport and room decoration for celebrations.
The Living Room is the hotel lounge, serving a continental breakfast daily from seven in the morning until eleven and pouring cocktails through the evening. Three more restaurants sit within the precinct and take reservations through the front desk, covering bar dining at Quentin's, Indian cooking at Royal Taj and French plates at Le Faubourg. Vegetarian dishes are available at breakfast and through in-room dining.
Universal Studios Singapore sits 400 metres away, with S.E.A. Aquarium and Skyline Luge both 500 metres off and Sentosa Golf Club 2.2 kilometres further on. Imbiah Station is a three minute walk and the monorail runs across to VivoCity. Singapore stays warm and humid through the year, which keeps the lap pool in use.
