Holidays to Le Barthelemey Hotel & Spa
Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa is a five star hotel on a crescent bay in Grand Cul-de-Sac, St Barts, in the French West Indies. Interiors by designer Sybille de Margerie reflect the sea and the natural beauty of the island. Travel + Leisure ranked the hotel the third best resort in the Caribbean, and the World's Best Awards 2026 named it among the Top 100 Hotels in the World. Service follows a philosophy the hotel calls couture hospitality, built around making you feel your very best.
The hotel has 44 rooms and suites plus two luxury villas, with interiors by Sybille de Margerie and in room amenities by Diptyque. Garden rooms and ocean view rooms sit alongside suites with a private pool, a beachfront duplex and signature suites of one, two or three bedrooms. Invisible drop down screens turn terraces into private enclaves, and Villas Aqua Bleu offer six bedrooms beside the sand.
Le B. Spa by Augustinus Bader offers facials and a full body ritual, with Nordic baths, a sauna and a hammam alongside. Beyond the spa, you can take guided hikes along the island trails, sail on a luxury yacht, go deep sea fishing or try a grounding wellness session on the beach. You can also adopt a coral and help restore the reefs of St Barts, receiving a personal certificate.
An infinity pool looks out over Grand Cul-de-Sac beach, and the serviced beach has comfortable lounge chairs. Le Fitness is open around the clock, and a complete watersports centre covers the bay. Daily buffet breakfast, watersports equipment, dedicated beach chairs and high speed WiFi are all part of your stay, while the spa welcomes children from the age of six for gentle treatments.
Two restaurants and two bars cover the day. Abyss serves fish focused dinners with your feet in the sand from seven until ten each evening, while Amis St. Barth opens for breakfast and lunch beside the turquoise water, with a Sunday brunch from 8 November. Le Turquoise Pool Bar runs from ten in the morning until six, and Seven Stars Bar pours twelve zodiac cocktails from six until eleven.
A dedicated event specialist arranges celebrations and private gatherings at the hotel and replies to enquiries within 24 hours. Seven Stars Bar screens Cinema under the Stars outdoors every Tuesday evening, and the Four Hands guest chef dinner series pairs the executive chef with a visiting chef for a multi course menu, so there is always something to mark a special occasion.
