Le Petit Hotel stands on the sand of Grand Case Bay at 248 Boulevard de Grand Case, in Saint Martin, French West Indies. It has ten rooms, a Google rating of 4.8 and a Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice badge, and a continental breakfast comes with your stay. André Petrelluzzi built it in 1995 in a Mediterranean style, and Remy and Yamina run it today. The hotel publishes no star rating.

Ten rooms come in three published types. The Deluxe Studio has ocean views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private terrace. The Oversized Deluxe Studio has beach and shoreline views, with direct beach access from the back door. The first floor One Bedroom Suite is on the beachfront, with a living room, a kitchen and dining area and an oversized terrace that leads to the sand. Brazilian woodwork, Balinese furniture, king size beds, air conditioning, ceiling fans and cable television feature across the rooms.

Kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are yours to use, and Pinel Island, about 500 metres off Cul-de-Sac, can be reached by kayak or paddle board. Nearby operators offer snorkelling and diving, catamaran trips to Anguilla, Prickly Pear and Tintamarre, and watersports at Orient Bay. On land, a one hour horseback trail ride suits beginners and families. No kids club or evening entertainment is published.

The hotel's own pages publish no pool, spa or gym at the property itself, so the water here is the bay. Complimentary kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are available, which suits you if you like to start the day on the water. Sister hotel L'Esplanade, about a mile up the road, has its own pool and spa, and you can find them on its own pages.

There is no restaurant on site. A continental breakfast buffet is served daily from about 08:00 to 10:00, with hot coffee, cold juice, pastries, yoghurt and fresh fruit, so mornings need no planning. For dinner, Restaurant Row in Grand Case is within walking distance, and a nightly shuttle runs there. The hotel also lists the poolside bar at L'Esplanade, open from about 11:00 to 19:00.

Restaurant Row sits within walking distance, and Tijon, a perfumery, is a short stroll from the hotel. Tintamarre Island, about 3 kilometres offshore, has a long golden beach and sea turtles. Further afield, Loterie Farm offers treetop zip lines, and Grand Case Airport runs flights to Saint Barthélemy and a short hop to Saba. Airport transfer times and climate details are not published.
