Bequia Beach Hotel is a family-owned and managed boutique property on Friendship Beach, on the petite island of Bequia in St Vincent & the Grenadines. Set across nine acres of lush tropical gardens, it has uninterrupted views over the Caribbean Sea towards neighbouring Mustique. With 58 rooms and a charming, authentic atmosphere, it gives you a smaller-scale island base surrounded by Bequia’s beaches and green hillsides. Same-day connections are available from Barbados and St Lucia, helping you reach the island without losing its secluded character.
The hotel has 58 rooms, including several beachfront suites, plus two luxury private villas. Its Grenadine Hills collection includes Villa One and Coral Hill, each with five or six bedrooms. If you choose a villa stay, you also have a private infinity pool, gym suite, spacious living rooms and an outdoor dining area, with sweeping views across the Southern Grenadines. An eight-bedroom Rock Villa is listed as under construction.
You can enjoy non-motorised watersports, table tennis, garden chess, croquet, beach football and volleyball, while outdoor movie nights offer an evening option. If you are travelling with children, a complimentary Kids Club runs from Monday to Saturday under professional supervision. Activities include outdoor games, arts and crafts, sandcastle building, table tennis and cupcake or cookie baking.
The Grenadine Hills villas each have a private infinity pool and gym suite, giving you space to swim or exercise in the privacy of your accommodation. Friendship Beach lies at the hotel, while the property’s nine acres of tropical gardens furnish a spacious setting for time outdoors during your stay.
Dining is centred on three named venues: Bagatelle, Blue Tropic and Jack’s Beach Bar. Food and drink also feature among the listed experiences, with private cooking classes led by a local chef and cocktail masterclasses available if you want something more interactive during your stay.
Bequia is only seven square miles and has a population of approximately 5,000, with sandy beaches, verdant hillsides, lively villages, and a selection of restaurants and bars to explore. You can hike to Mt Peggie, the island’s highest point, or visit the protected Tobago Cays, where swimming with turtles and seeing marine life are highlighted experiences. Sundowners at the floating Bar One are another local option. Year-round SVG Air transfers operate from Barbados, while Bequia Air offers private flights from Barbados or St Lucia during the November to May peak season for same-day arrival.
